    Ok,

I hope to heat both upstairs (4-5 rads) and downstairs (10 rads) in seperate zones via an oil condenser boiler.

Now the downstairs is where all the bedrooms and main living areas are so its my main priority to heat,so i have installed a 21kw back boiler insert stove.

Is it possible to have the back boiler just heating the 10 downstairs rads only? As i fear it will not be powerfull or strong enough to heat both upstairs and downstairs through back boiler alone.

If i need heat upstairs i can turn on oil.

Is this 2 zone or 3 zone heating?

I am thinking of having an immersion, and two power showers (switch via a non-priority unit) to guarantee.

I didnt go with Pv panels or electric heating systems as the figures were not adding up.

    Any suggestion?
