    Hi,

I am amazed how hard it is to find a table which is round after extension.

There are some antique "jupes" which cost anything from 5k to 100k!!! They extend with an internal mechanism by twisting, but some simply add extension pieces around the circumference. How is that not more popular? Skovby have a small extension from 4 to 6 seats.

Anyone managed to get a round to round extendable table? 170cm or bigger?

    Thanks

    😎

They are available from specialist UK companies - after you have won the lotto ! A browse on youtube will show a few. The trick is to find one that is truly circular after extending - some of them are 'faceted' ie not totally circular.

There is a good reason why they are hard to find, and expensive. Both the design , and the construction methods are extremely complicated , and do not lend themselves well to large commercial construction. They require exceptional skills in both disciplines, and as a result are extremely labour intensive.

More a labour of love and portrayal of talent than anything else.
