Contracting role - LTD co.

Hi all,

In setting up a LTD company for the purposes of working as an IT contractor, I was wondering if a typical "off the shelf" company formation would suffice.

It's nothing fancy, just a regular IT contracting role that requires a LTD company to work through, so I was curious if anyone had any pointers on how to get this up and running as quickly as possible and with as minimal fuss. I see things like umbrella company mentioned. The day rate is over 400 euro so whether that makes things any different I am not sure. I would be the sole employer.

I’m contracting 8 years and found ContractingPLUS to be the best but a little more expensive. I’ve a friend with Fenero and he is currently trying to move away from them.

Also by the sounds of it I’d go as company director if I was you. I’ve been meaning to change over myself. PM me if you want anymore information in general.
