Old laptop

    Got rid of an old laptop in a recycling place forgot about the hard drive changed my pin for the bank and cleared autofill is there anything I could do for security thanks .

    No help on security,and at the risk of crossing threads, it's worth holding onto the lipo batteries for small solar type project as in above thread.A billion AAs are dumped every year,and most lipo batteries I've rescued from scrapped devices are 90%,it's normally the surrounding electronics that fail.One rechargeable lipo may replace 3 AAs in a gadget.
