Setting up a Savings Account with AIB via the AIB Banking App

I have heard that you can set up a savings account via the AIB banking app.

Is this straightforward to do? I already have a current account open with AIB.

What do I have to do to set up the savings account via the app?

Down the bottom of the app there is an option "apply & open", you can open up a savings account there along with various other things.

What information will I need to set up a savings account via the AIB app?

Is it complicated? I went into this out of curiousity, and they asked questions such as what the source of the funding was?

Would simply saying " Diligent saving of wages from my employments over x number of years" suffice here?

They also asked something like how much roughly I intend to save over x time period. How would I answer this?

Why not just go on the app and try yourself? All the info will be provided during the step by step setup.

Also, with regards to a newly opened current account in AIB do you usually recieve the PIN for bank card first then recieve the debit card separately afterwards in the post?
