Self Divorce

Has anyone any experience of getting divorced without the use of a solicitor. My wife and I have been separated for many years and are finally getting around to divorce. We have agreed everything and have signed the mediation agreement papers. I don't want to give a solicitor money for nothing as I believe it is fairly straightforward once it is uncontested and agreed. I would appreciate any advice on how to fill in the papers or what I might need to do. Thanks in advance.
