Recirculating extractor fan

Hi, I'm looking to put in a recirculating extractor fan above a range cooker (option not there to vent outside) and I'm looking for a powerful enough model that's also small enough in height as I don't want to loose much space with it. Once it's in il board and plaster around it, including a vent, as it will be positioned in an old chimney breast. The small of the height will mean I won't loose much height in bringing the chimney breast down, does anyone have any recommendations? Many thanks
