    The problem most people experience with wait times is based on expecting the queue to be first in first out, but actually simply qualifying isn’t enough. If you’re a single unemployed man on HAP, you’ll get leapfrogged by many single or dual low income before you get anything permanent.

    There’s no set waiting time for everyone. Some folks are housed quite early on, it all depends on circumstances.
