Anyone use Allianz Ireland directly?

    Ok so Im looking for home cover not motor but since it's all the same office and the question is more about what they are like to deal with, I thought it would do here.

    I got a good quote from them online, but want to speak to someone before I buy the policy to double check some stuff. Over two days I've been on hold for and hour and a half, cannot get through to anyone. Their Twitter is full of people complaining about the same and they have a google score of 2.5/5 with most complaining about poor customer service and endless waits to complete claims....

    Is this par for course with Allianz? Are they to be avoided?
