Surly LHT for sale 

Built this mint Surly LHT frameset up as a project - idea was to use up some parts I had lying around and use it as a shopping/getting-around-the-place bike, but ended up buying most new stuff cos it's such a nice frame.

However, my bro has offered me a really nice Brompton folding bike - I'd always wanted one - and so this has to go. Ridden it less than 50 miles in total.

And with new wheels, tyres, bars, mudguards and otherwise lightly used other bits, it's practically a new bike.  

·  Mint 54cm frameset with Cane Creek headset – made in 2013 but practically unused, not a scratch anywhere (sizing: I’m 5ft 10 and long in the leg but Surly website says a 54cm would suit anyone from 5ft 7 to 5ft 11)

·  New wheels (Shimano 26 inch T610 deore hubs and DT 535 swiss rims)

·  New tyres (Schwalbe Big Apple 2.0) and tubes

·  New Surly Truck Stop handlebars 42cm. These are drop bars with a 3cm rise for a more upright position.

·  Lightly used Shimano 105 front and new Altus 9 speed rear derailleur

·  Lightly Used Stronglight Impact 48/34 chainset, 172.5 crank length

·  Used 9 speed Shimano Tiagra STI shifter/brake levers (very scratched but work perfectly)

·  New 11-34 cassette and Shimano chain HG53

·  Lightly Used Tektro CR720 cantilever brakes with new Kool-Stop dual compound brake pads

·  All new brake and gear cables

·  New SKS mudguards

·  New square taper bottom bracket – brand VP 

·  Lightly used seatpost and stem

·  Used pedals – DMR V8 (very scuffed, but bearings still smooth)

Have a retro rear rack to go with it, but its a bit old and scruffy.
