I would like to have ESPN for October to see the baseball. I have a standard sky subscription (no sport).

Is the BTSport monthly pass for €25 my only option? Just checking in case there are other avenues I am unaware of.

    Thanks for any tips.

Have you considered the NOWTV route? Presuming you have half decent BB.

If so, check out this thread https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2058086783/now-tv-sky-sports-sky-sports-extra-bt-sports-premier-sports-23pm-17pm/p20

There's usually an offer available, of some sort for Sports Extra

Thanks, had not looked into NowTv before. I could get it on my firestick.

But not sure about recording shows then? Games typically on during the night.

Is it just the baseball? MLB.TV are offering a post season package for US$24.99. That’s about €21. Given that the Now offer for the Sports Extra pass (BT & Premier Sports - this is the one you need for ESPN, do not go for the Sky Sports pass if your only interest is baseball!) is €17pm for three months, you can cancel at any time, and the MLB season is over in less than a month, I think Now is a better deal. However you will be restricted in terms of not being able to record easily, so if you need to time shift MLB.TV should allow you to do that

Aye thanks, just baseball, big game tonight. MLB does archive access to all postseason. With taxes, it comes to $30.74. Tested with a friend and we both seem to be able to access of the one subscription, so all going well we will split cost...🤞 That's a great deal you mention in fairness!
