Query on NCT date for first nct on import

Scenario, a 1985 vehicle is registered in ireland in 2018 but not nct'd. firs reg is feb 85. If car is nct in novemeber 2021 is the 2 year nct from feb 21? If I wait until feb 2022, does the nct date from feb 2022?

Open to correction but if the nct is out longer than 2 years, the new nct date will from the day you nct the car so if you nct it in November you'll have two years nct from that day

Thanks for reply. Never nct before , so i'd say it depends on wjo's on on the day. I've a few jobs to do first so I think that ill wait until February.
