Hi. I am looking to try and install a solar panel on our new garden office shed. Would like to run a lap top and printer and lights from it. Want to try it myself to save money.

Can anyone recommended what would be best to get for this type of job and where I would buy it. Also any video tutorials?

How are you heating the shed ?

    Lights - LED

Inkjets use a lot less power than lasers if you are sizing inverters. It's been a while since Aldi or Lidl did the power monitoring plugs they'd be handy for this sort of thing.

Laptops have become more energy efficient over the last decade even if they haven't gotten all that faster. Check battery capacity and how long it can run on it to get a rough idea of how much power it uses.
