Basic question about Disneyland Paris

    Firstly, apologies if necessary for starting a new thread on this. Am sure there used to be a "Theme Park Megathread" here, where this question was probably answered, but I can't find it in the search function of the "new" Boards.

    Anyway, here goes...

    Say you're travelling with your own car and have booked a typical two night/three days stay at DLP, in one of the Disney hotels. Let's say for example that the three days are Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. Just wondering how the first and last day work, i.e.:

    Monday morning - you arrive to DLP, but I presume you can't check into your hotel until the afternoon or evening, so you just head into the park instead. Are you allowed to park your car at the hotel you'll be staying at, or do you have to use one of the public car parks (and maybe pay extra for it), since you're not actually a guest of that hotel yet?

    Tuesday - straightforward. You'd wake up in the hotel, go to the parks, and back to the hotel that night.

    Wednesday - you check out of the hotel, and head for the parks again. Can you leave your car at the hotel for that day, or do you have to move it on as soon as you check out?

    And by the way, if anybody knows where that Megathread is, and can post the link here or even just "bump" it back up, I'd appreciate that too!

    Thanks in advance.

    To make the most of your stay I'd suggest checking out the Disney Express service

    However, because you are driving that may not be convenient. Hotels, in my experience, will allow you to check-in early, collect your park tickets so you can go to the parks and they'll hold your bags until you're back in the evening. You will need your park tickets for entry to the parks.

    If you're staying at a Disney hotel you will have free parking and free shuttle service (should you need it). Some hotels are a 15-20 minute walk. Shouldn't be any issue with leaving your car until you leave but you could always drive up to the Disney Village car park to make it easier when you're leaving.

    Megathread can be found here (I think);

    Many thanks. Didn't occur to me that you'd have to turn up at hotel first to get park tickets. Had assumed they'd be sent out in advance.

    Thanks too for the link for the Megathread. I see there's been no posts there since March of last year. No wonder I couldn't find it by simply browsing back through the pages!

    If you book a package through Disney themselves you won't get your tickets in advance. Tickets bought through a third party would likely be posted out, unless digital tickets.

    Be advised that if via a third party you may need to prebook your entry, depending on whether the tickets are dated or not;
