Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So......we are a five piece with trumpet/ vocals, tenor sax, guitar, bass, drums.....sometimes we have a trombone too :) We are based in Clare/ Galway and we play music to make people dance . We have a mix of covers and originals.....and play the old skool Ska, along the lines of The Skatalites, Prince Buster, Laurel Aitken, Dandy Livingston etc. We are always delighted to gig...weddings, events, pub gigs, festivals, parties.....they are all great ! Skazz have been playing since 2007..before that we were a Swing & Jazz band, but then the Ska bug got us. We have played many a juicy gig, both here and in Europe...we are regulars at Cork Jazz, and have played Electric picnic, Ted Fest, Bray Jazz, Ska Splash, Dublin Ska Fest, Booleigh Ska Fest, Festival Valle Luna ( la gomera) and also organised Skadoonvarna and the PHoenix Ska Fest. ...and we are resident band for Doonbeg Jazz ( but then I help organise that, so that helps :D!

We love to meet people who like Ska, who like to play Ska, and generally people who like a good dance . we have a facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/skazzireland where you can always contact us.

    cheers!
