    Hey,

how much would I be looking at to move a hot water cylinder 6 foot, it’s under the stairs, and moving it to the other side of the small utility room would free up an awful lot of space. Would it be too expensive to be bothered with?

Most likely very expensive. You won't really know without having a plumber look at it.

A guess without having seen it.

    1 full day.

    €150 in materials.

    maybe €600+

you will still likely have pipe work in the previous location. If you wanted to vacate this space of pipe work altogether you could be looking at a lot more.
