Underground water mains leak under interior concrete floor of house.

I have a water mains leak cubic meter an hour. I have located the mains to the entry point of house, where it disappears into foundatio.

My thoughts are to cut mains (19mm) pipe at the entry point and run it up the exterior wall into the attic. I would insulate using 110mm waste water pipe, with max size plumbing insulating as would fit inside the waste pipe.

We live in Ennis, Co Clare, so weather a bit milder than some other places in Ireland, but I do remember 2010 big freeze, logged - 12 degrees down here for a few weeks.

I know I would need to connect kitchen cold water to new mains pipe in attic. Not a big job, much preferable than pulling up a concrete floor.

I have insurance, but they only cover water damage, not the repair itself.

1000 litres per hour is a massive leak and would surely show up somewhere, unless you have a cavern beneath your house. 😁

Should be really easy for plumber to find such a leek and repair.

Whatever is done , no don't run it up the external wall of the house. That is asking for future problems you've already described and possibly a burst external pipe
