Ive received a new job offer and am due to start Tuesday 26th October. How does the bank holiday work for me? Should I put the leaving date for my current job as the bank holiday Monday or the previous Friday. Both jobs are in the public service but one local authority and one gov job

Put the leaving date of the old job as the BH Monday. If it wasn't a public holiday, you'd put Sunday as last date worked. No break in service.

The old job is obliged to pay if you leave in the week preceding the bank holiday.
