Quick and dirty self defence for student.

    A few years ago I got an impromptu session of self defense; it was a get out of a hold/cause a bit of damage to delay/run like feck nuts and bolts job and it turned out to be really useful.

    I want to pay for a class in something like that for my niece who has started college in Dublin. She wouldn't be into formal extended classes (she does a few sports already) but would enjoy something practical. Does anyone have any suggestions?
