Automating gates that close uphill

We have a set of house gates that we need to automate to be normally closed as our children are getting nosy about the road and are constantly trying to go on the road. At the moment the gates open outwards onto a narrow road and there isn't enough room to stop the car safely off the road and let the gates swing open. That menas we have to change the gates to open inwards (I think!)

I have seen pictures online where the bottom hinge pin is moved inwards and this offset causes the gate to move upwards as it moves inwards/uphill.

Can you get this style of gate in Ireland?

    Can the gate be automated?

Eventually we plan to knock these gates and piers and widen the entrance but that is 5-7 yrs away. We want to try and use what we have now. We probably will go with a sliding version then but not just yet.
