Are threads getting deleted?

I took part in a wonderfull disscussion a few weeks back and now I can't find the thread. Are threads getting deleted instead of locked now on boards?

Some threads do get deleted if they are particularly problematic. Doing a Google search with appropriate keywords and "site:boards.ie" (without the quotes) can be useful.
