As pictured it seems my left touchpad button has been damaged somewhat. It's seems to be working but the way it's now is annoying me. Is it worth sending it for a repair or could a simple at home trick fix it. Feels like the clip inside has broken

Laptop is a HP Laptop 14-cf2000 and the warranty ends on the 29th Nov 2021 when it will be a year old

    Any help is appreciated

search on youtube for the exact model and problem to see if anyone else has fixed it

if part required could be tricky to source and fiddly to put in

if you want it fixed and can borrow a laptop or something for the month or whatever it would be away for repair maybe go that route
