    Right folks

I have accidentally broken a TV for an elderly relative. Learning how to use a brand new one or different brand will stress them out too much. Also the space for the TV is very specific for fitting the 40 inch size.

TV in question is a 40 inch Sony Bravia kdl40we663. Unfortunately looks like it went out of production last year so can no longer be bought new as far as I can find.

Anyone have any ideas where I might be able to find one, even 2nd hand? No luck on Adverts/Done Deal.

Broken TV isn't fixable either so not an option.

    Thanks

Have you looked at the current range of Sony tv's, the remote is pretty much identical, basic funtionality should be the very same so little change for them. There's reviews of them online on Youtube, you could compare pre purchase.

Here's 2 on Ebay UK, contact them to see if they will send to Ireland, perhaps add €100 for delivery and import tax...

Look on ebay, any old TV will do as long as its not larger than 40 inches , look for a Sony TV as the remote control will be similar. It's easy to setup a universal remote to work on any TV, most people just use channel plus, minus, volume up, down, mute and av hdmi button power on off or put an ad on adverts ie Sony TV wanted 40 inches or smaller
