M4 resurfacing J7 to J5 ?

Does anyone know if this will ever be done? That new stretch between Maynooth and Kilcock is very nice. Was on M4 recently after not driving it for many months and the surface on it is dreadful. I am sure many others will agree that the quality of surface is unacceptable for a motorway with a 120km speed limit.

Being held off while a study is done on widening and/or addition of an inbound bus lane. Surface will probably be over 30 years old before its replaced.
