Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a zanussi freestanding oven that if you heat over 180 Deg the door pops open itself. There is no obvious problem with the latch mechanism . Has anybody come across this before ?

Nope. Is it mounted flush, square and vertical in the kitchen-cabinet? I'd suggest that it's warped somewhere and that's putting strain on the hinge, causing it to pop when it gets up to a particular temperature.

Its a free standing unit - It was here when i moved into the house , but am slow to change it as if i change down the line it will be when i do the whole kitchen in a year or two.

Its odd if the door pops open and you leave it open for a min it will close again but if you shut it immediately it will keep popping open. I was wondering was it a safety mechanism in the latch to prevent overheating but the oven certainly isnt reaching temps that are way too high.
