Tractor tyre gash.

    I've a 3-4 inch open gash in the sidewall of a rear wheel (90% thread). Wheel is holding air & didn't get worse over the past year...

    Rough idea of repair? & cost

    Can’t remember cost was around 100 I think about 5 years ago but mighty job that vulcanised job

    Lad i work for got the tyre of the silage wagon vulcanised 3 or 4 years ago it was about 5 inches of a cut straight through the tyre.

    Afaik it cost round 300.

    If he was doing it again , he would have replaced the tyre
