Certain parts as far as I’m aware (which could be wrong), but the very generic “West” put me on the red list when I travelled back home last week and wanted to return to Germany. Just meant another form to fill in before flying though, and nobody bothered checking it on arrival.

Well, the list is basically irrelevant now - going green won't turn off the cert system. And part of the country is current dark red.

The important checkpoints are 4% test positivity rate and <200/100k 14 day case figures.

Our last 7 days test positivity rate is 6% and our 14 day case figures are 450/100k. It'll be some weeks before we can drop from red, but both those figures are falling - the 7 day rate was 7.3% last time we were re-classified for instance.

So whats it like to travel if your un-vaccinated? Seems to me your just better of doing a pcr test before you travel vaccinated or not I know it cost a bit extra but seems like less hassle. Lad in work had to travel home to south Africa as his brother was killed. He fully vaccinated but as soon as he left the EU he had to do Pcr tests as they didnt accept his vaccination as he was outside the EU. he had to do about 5 tests and cost him a couple of hundred Euro extra.

Plenty of European countries allow an antigen test (done by a qualified practitioner, not at home) for unvaccinated, which is cheaper than PCR. Some colleagues went to Spain and back that way recently. Extra cost that anyone vaccinated didn't have to carry

Remember that you may go somewhere, get in and then find you can't do very much without constant tests or a vaccine cert - e.g. France.

Even though we're on the red list, are there any restrictions on where we can travel within the EU if vaccinated? From what I've seen there are no further requirements for tests.
