They are unreasonable to me, so I just ignored them. The reason they are going to expel me is they said I am not engaged with the course.

There are by-laws that you accept when taking your place.

One obvious one that everyone knows and accepts is the Pass your exams to progress rule.

There are others like conduct of various types.

Them asking you to leave voluntarily is to avoid an internal process.

To go legal and challenge their by-laws would be expensive. Basically, they will have way more money than you and will defend rigorously.

Are you failing? Are you going to class? Are you being an ass in class? Like it's 20 days into term. What's being unreasonable. It's turn up to class, be respectful of those around and don't fail which is pretty hard to do in first month of term.
