If you have recently been granted your first shotgun licence how long until you are able to apply for another one? Was wondering because I wanted to get a gun that a young lad on a training licence could use with me.

Do you mean how long you have to wait before applying? If so, then there's no waiting period. You can submit as many applications as you like ... even at the same time. Each application is a separate entity and may take "different routes" through the application process. But there's no waiting period after a successful application ... if that's what you're asking.
