Buying a house the last 10months between judgment mortgages etc it’s at the last stream of decisions but noticed today the sold sign was removed from the property why does this mean is there a time frame on signs up on a house?

If a bank/receivership wants to take over a house sale what’s the chances of them continuing the sale to us and not putting it up for auction etc?

Signs going up or down have no legal standing. It may be something or nothing. Contact the seller for an update.

Banks/Receivers may be happy to sell by private treaty, but they normally want to make sure the property is on the market close to the sale. They dont want to be in front of a Dail Committee explaining why they sold to buyer X for 300k when there was someone in the market prepared to pay 350k. Thats why they like auctions - there is no question that they haven't sold to the highest bidder. Only way to find out is to ask whats going on.
