Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I live in an apartment and the neighbour above me put in a new kitchen when purchased. From then we can hear everything! Every tap of a spoon, washing the dishes etc etc. They claim there is adequate soundproofing and it’s a structural issue. A contractor investigated on their behalf but I received no report!! Would a new kitchen cause me to hear everything or is it a structural issue. Advise please and thanks

What is the structure of the building?

Soundproofing between the units is a building issue, not a unit issue. If the floor between your units is not soundproof sufficiently, that's your issue as much as their. ie its not their floor.

Obviously if they removed existing sound proofing from the area that would be there fault. But I would imagine its more likely that they've removed carpet and installed hard floors.
