What's the handiest car park in DCC for doing a bit of shopping?

Not necessarily the cheapest, just the easiest to find and get in/out.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

Arnotts car park beside GPO or Jervis SC if north of the Liffey. Brown Thomas car park or Fleet St if south. All very central.

This website shows places & prices.

Depends on where you're coming from. Marlborough Street would be my preferred North side in terms of getting in and out. On the South side, Drury Street or Dawson Street for me.

I see Fleet Street has been mentioned, it's my least favourite car park in Dublin, tight turns and small spaces.

    Coming from Galway

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

In that case I'd go with the North side suggestions @mrslancaster made if hitting the Henry Street/Jervis area. Any of the Southside ones are as convenient as each other.

Are you heading into the city centre for any particular shops that aren't in the shopping centres?

Agreed. Fleet Street is the worst of them. I would avoid unless there were no other options

Brown Thomas all the way. Easy to get into, easy to get out of.... slightly off the beaten track so not mega rammed.

Another option might be the Ilac centre if you are shopping in Jervis/Henry St. They have a shopper rate of 7 euro for 3 hours (check times I think it is 10am to 4pm, might only be Monday to Friday).
