Wondering if anyone knows how to fix this issue.

My Sky box shows no sat signal and i have to reboot the box when i try to view certain channels - see attached with timestamp.

Can happen at anytime of the day, doesn't effect any Sky,RTE channels just ones that i think are FTA such as CNN etc.

    Thanks!

CNN went pay per view a week or so ago, but afaik it's supposed to be still on Sky. Possibly other channels were moved or removed also, if you post the channels you are having issues with maybe someone could help.

CNN and CNN HD are still available FTA. They were removed from the Freesat EPG and other cable providers.

If the OP is having the same problem with other channels it is more likely a dish alignment problem as CNN is one of the weaker signals.

We had similar issues 4 years ago, ultimately it ended up being an issue with the sky dish not being installed high enough. We have loads of tall trees that just grew over time and started blocking the signal.

Called sky, they first told us we needed to pay to have an engineer out to take a look, hence we decided to cancel and wouldn't you know they offered us a cheaper package for 12 months and including sending out an engineer for free, who installed the new dish on the chimney.

Thanks for the replies, look like it is a sky dish issue, with the bad weather today the alert showed up on alot of FTA channels, guess i'll have to pay to get someonefrom Sky out to fix it!
