Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm going to hang a set of box steel gates. I'm using these eye bolts. There is a bit of play at the moment so the bolt part will sag down. What is the norm fix? Add washers? Least amount of grinding is best I suppose.

They wont sag if you use the hinges right, section with 2 holes in the post and the threaded eye blt through the gate frame. adjust the bolt to level the gate.

some people use them the other way around and they dot work as good in my opinion.

how much space will you have between the hanging post and the edge of the gate?

Keep this to a minimum and the eye bolt will not point downwards unless you drill the gate at an angle.

i would normally keep the distance between the post and the gate edge between 25 and 30mm.
