    Hi,

Samsung tab A 8 inch 2019 updated software and now is stuck on a boot loop.

It keeps rebooting every 10 seconds. Can't get past the Samsung logo boot screen.

I've tried combinations of holding power and volume buttons. On occasion it will progress to this screen (2nd pic below, install screen??), but only gets as far as 25% before crashing back out to the first boot screen and then the loop on that screen continues.

Any one any suggestions, google giving me nothing that works.please note this model doesn't have a home button.

    Thank you

You might be just inside the Samsung gaurantee period - 2 years.Call them on 0818 717 100 It connects to Samsung UK.Have the serial number and purchase date/store available. They won't give you advice anymore over the 'phone apart from asking basic questions. Not like years ago when you could ask any questions with no time restriction or before you could email them with back and forth replies.Have you tried holding the power button with the volume button in the up position then the down position?Do you think your tablet will eventually power down and when your recharge it will work normally again? Do you get any response if you charge it?

Thanks. Tried those button combos. No joy.

I personally think the firmware update has gone wrong and hasn't/can't complete.

    Will ring them tomorrow.

    Kids will go crazy tomorrow!

Updates can be nightmares.Samsung will arrange collection from your address and deliver to Fon Nua for repair.

Thanks for all the advice beachhead.

Rang Samsung today. They will repair under warranty and collect.

If I understood them correctly this could take circa 10 days to resolve and I should hear from the courier regarding collection in 72 hours.

Do you know who is repairing your tablet. It could be Fon Nua in Sandyford,Dublin 18 It won't take 10 days to fix(not 10 working days). If you are near Sandyford drop into their reception with all your details. No guarantee the couriers will give you advance notice of a delivery time.Their number is (01)2149200 but it's impossible to get an answer or almost.Go thru the sequence 2149201,02,23 up to 2149208 for a chance or start with 2149000

    All sorted already!

Collected from me by UPS on Friday. Arrived at Fon Nua on Monday.

Knock on the door this morning (Wednesday) at 8.50. DPD with the return.

    Main board was replaced.

No charge for repair or the couriers.
