Contract engineering

    Hi folks

Any people contract engineering? currently with a utility engineering company PAYE but have an opportunity to move closer to home on a pharma managed service/projects team.

12 years + experience project engineering/management. I assume the day rate is desired salary + pension ÷ 230 to cover holidays/bank holidays.

I did contract many moons ago but in an offshore setting, I'm in the cork area.

You'd want to take into a good bit extra than the PAYE rate to allow for not having the same job security, time off work between contracts, paying accountant/management fees etc.
