They door handle came off our bedroom door yesterday, what's the best to fix it or do I need a new door?

    Thanks

Remove all the loose bits of timber and fill the four screw holes with a good quality wood filler, wait till it’s hard and then sand it nice and smooth and re screw the handle back on

I've lots of bitter experience with theses type of handles and cheap doors. You need "door handle screws" which will go through the door and connect both handles to each other.

Like Borzoi said without the door handle screws this will keep happening over and over.
