Moving from System to Combi Boiler

    Hello,

My current setup at home is a vokera mynute 16e system boiler with a water tank and a pump. From the 2 showers I have, one feeds from the boiler/tank, the other shower is an electric one, Triton T80xr.

I'm planning on replacing my system boiler with a combi boiler, namely the 24kW Ideal Logic Max and removing the water tank.

    My questions are:

    1. Does the new boiler have support for hydrogen? If not, should I look for one that does? Should I be worried about this now? I'm asking because I became aware that from 2026 no more natural gas boilers are to be sold. I'm concerned about buying something that will require an expensive upgrade soon.
    2. Will my electric shower continue to operate? Or will I need a Triton T90SR (or similar) due to the lack of a water tank?
    3. Given the low pressure on the mains in Ireland, its obvious for me that everytime I open the tap for hot water, the pump will start working, but will the water pump start working when I turn only the heating on?

    Thank you so much!

The one you've linked will support 20% hydrogen. This is the current maximum.

Your kind of stuck in that are right and we will likely see models in the future which have greater and greater % levels but right now... not so much.
