Pensions and Seperation

Just looking for insight on pension adjustments as part of marriage separation. I agreed as part of separation to equalize pensions 50/50 up to date of separation. Do pensions that I have from previous employment pre getting married get included in this equalization or is it only the pensions accumulated during the period of marriage.

What is the norm in terms of period? i.e all pensions up to point of separation or only pensions applicable during the marriage years? Would appreciate some insight.

P.A.O. applies to all pensions. They are deferred assets at the time of separation.

PAO can only apply to pensions accrued during the period of marriage. Anything from before you got married won't be part of it.
