FTTH install time

Currently have FTTC with Sky and I’m switching to VF FTTH next week.

I’ve been advised that a technician is calling next week.

What’s the typical timeline involved with VD FTTH? I’m a bit concerned about possible downtime and it’s impact on ability to work from home.

    Thanks.

FTTC and FTTH are completely different products , not related. There's no switch , you would have 2 broadband packages working at same time AFAIK ( unless you'll cancel sky FTTC )

Just give Sky 30 days notice , once fiber installed successfully ( not always the case BTW) at worse scenario you'll pay extra month for the package you no longer need.
