How can I get decent travel insurance with covid cover to travel internationally. Since this is designated as non essential I see the majority of Irish providers stating the cover is not valid if the government dk not approve travel.

Travel is no longer designated non essential as of 19 July?

Is that international though, as I see Mauritius still designated as only essential travel. Or am I misreading your response.

    Travel to Mauritius from Ireland

The Irish government advises against all non-essential international travel at this time. Travel restrictions are in place to protect public health and to mitigate the risk of new variants of COVID-19 entering the country. Details of these restrictions are available on the travel section of the gov.ie website.

I'm wondering if this will improve as I'm not heading there until mid October. And securing the insurance has some time
