Mixing white furniture

Hi it might sound like a silly question but is it ok to mix white bed room furniture. Like should bedside lockers and beds be exact matching white . Got lockers to match a white bed and the bed seems glossy now while the lockers aren’t . Do most people mix white furniture or just have matching sets ?
