In a previous thread I read lower charges are available for PRSAs with a value >€100k.

Current PRSA with Zurich; 100% allocation, AMC 1% (through discount broker).

Could anyone provide details of a lower-cost plan?

    Thanks in advance

Not much actually lower on AMC - Davy is 0.75 i think.

As ever its not as simple as can you save a portion of the 1% though. The fund that you have with Zurich will often contain some hidden charges within the fund that you don't see - you can get a view by comparing the performance of it with what you would expect from a similar vanguard fund - that's what being in the fund costs you, and then the 1% on top for the actually PRSA admin etc.

The job is to get the best possible return post costs for the level of risk that you want to take/should take - a decent financial advisor maybe worth a visit if you have more than 100k in it.
