Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking to redo a small plant bed at the front which is south facing and gets plenty of sun all around .

Along with other flowering plants we wanted to have one or two Mediterranean shrubs which can be used in the front .we short listed the following based on various pictures on RHS and gardenworld , any other recommendations?

    Polygala Purple Passion

    Helichrysum italicum/Curry plant

    Artemisia ‘Powis Castle/Wormwood

    Leptospermum scoparium/ manuka myrtle

    small citrus tree

    small Olive trees

    Hebe ..

Lavender and rosemary are also nice. The rosemary looks better if it is kept trimmed to stop it getting too leggy and the lavender also benefits from being cut back after flowering. Not sure if it is Mediterranean but lamb's ear plant also does well in a sunny position and I like your suggestion of curry plant. Also thyme comes in a number of varieties that can look good.

    Happy gardening!
