    Hi All,

    I need to get a mobility scooter new or second hand for the father in law who is 83.

    He has a medical card.

    What is the procedure, is just a matter of purchasing it directly from a company or is there HSE supports to help with the purchase in the form of grants etc.?

    How easy is it to get an quality second hand mobility scooter?

    Any recommendations for a new scooter in an retail shop?

    Waterford/Cork area but would travel within reason.

    Any help appreciated.
