Upgrade for Samsung S20+

    Any recommendations for an upgrade from an S20+? I had a look at the S21+ but the improvements are minor and it has even disimproved in some areas.

    The S20+ still has top of the range specs and no flagships will be noticeably ahead of it in most areas.

    Maybe wait until the Pixel 6 comes out and that might have something to interest you.

    What sort of an upgrade are you looking for?

    This is my plan as well. Hopefully some of the 'Google Magic' can make up for all flagships mainly being identical these days!

    I'd go with the xiaomi mix 4 if you can wait a month or so for its global release if not then the xiaomi mi 11 ultra, there more advanced than the Samsung s21+

    What are you looking for the phone to do? Baffled to be honest..........phones have barely improved in years from a user point of view and you have a new top of the ranger there. I have S20 myself and also have a HTC One m8 from 2014 or something that we use as a shared office phone for some apps we use in work and there's very little between them in reality. Last upgrade I was impressed by was my jump from iphone 3gs to HTC One M7 in 2012/2013....everything else has been very incremental at best


    iphone 3gs

    HTC One m7.....big jump

    HTC One M8....backwards step

    Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge....about equal

    Huawei P30....small improvement

    Samsung S20.....about equal

    Not really sure what I want just something ... better. i am due an upgrade now so I might just switch back to a sim only plan and hold on to my money. there doesn't seem to be much of interest out there. The Pixel 6 Pro looks interesting so I'll keep an eye out for that
