Welcome Email

    I am changing to Electric Ireland and have no major concerns.

    However, the welcome email I received contains the following

    "The average consumer uses 4,200kWh of electricity and 11,000kWh of gas a year. If you use these average amounts, we estimate that your annual bill cost would be €0.00 for electricity and €0.00 for gas."

    While I would be perfectly happy to pay €0.00, this is a bigger saving than I actually expect. I imagine the problem is with the mailmerge setup for your emails which is not calculating the estimated saving for the chosen tariff properly. You might look at this.

    I am not interested in a specific reply about my potential savings, only that you fix the email for other customers.
