    Hi,

I wanted to clean out the vents in the bedrooms upstairs in my house. 2 put of 3 bedroom vents are filled with grey styrofoam balls. I thought at first they were spider eggs but they're not.

    Why is this?

That should read 2 out of 3 bedroom vents. Sorry

The walls in your house were insulated or one of your neighbours had it done and the wind carried them into your vents.

I'd say it's just bits of the insulation that was used .

    Okay that makes sense now.

Should I try to push them back into the walls?

If the house was pumped cavity prior to your purchase they may have done a shite job and not sleeved the vents from inside to outside meaning the balls are free to come out your vents easily.

Id recommend getting the vents sleeved.
