Hi I currently renovating my bathroom and I have run two pipe down the bathroom wall (solid block) for mixer shower. I ran these pipes in qualpex and the elbowed out in copper. I then plastered over them with bonding plaster. Since then I’ve heard that bonding plaster with rot through the brass fittings and copper so I decided to chisel out around the brass fitting and copper. As far as I am aware the qualpex is ok as this is plastic. It’s next to impossible to get all the plaster off the fittings and copper. So I uploaded a few pictures. Am I ok to leave it like this or should I replace?

    thanks

As the Bonding is gypsum + vermiculite + quartz, I imagine that once it remains dry, there should be no problem. With Bonding, most of the problems lie with it being very porous. So, providing the pipes don't sweat I cannot see a problem.
