Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Anybody know what the issue would be with a Nikon d7100 that won't take pics, showing a Err message on the display. Tried cleaning contracts, different lens, took batter out for 15 mins etc but no luck.

Any seems to be no nikon repair agent in Ireland anymore?

    Thanks

    Rob

What lens are you using. If it is an older one with an aperture ring, you need to to set it to minimum aperture. The error will appear for a lot of reasons. I have had the above error with older lenses. I have also had occassions when turning off, removing batteries fixed it. And once on a D7000 camer when the shutter mechanism died - had to be replaced!

I had a stubborn error with my D7000, which turned out to be caused by my having accidentally engaged the write-protect tab on the memory card. I can't remember the exact error though.

It can also be a faulty memory card

Memory card fine and camera doesn't work with card removed
